On the weekends, one of my favorite past times is looking on HGTV's website at all of the rooms that people have decorated. That website always inspires me to cruise the Internet for some ideas on how to make our home even homier. I have been on the hunt for some new bedding and this time I vow to use it longer than 6 - 12 months. I tend to always go the "thrifty" route and with bedding that isn't always the best idea. I tend to always go for solids and this time I want to branch out a bit and go with a print and better quality duvet cover or comforter. I love some of the lighter colors but I'm a bit worried that our little monster Tanner will come running and jump on our bed right after he got done playing outside in the sometimes muddy backyard. I'd love to get your opinions on what you think and I'm always up for recommendations! Also if you have any good websites for me to check out just let me know.

I'm thinking option 3 b/c of the color options. And to me it lends towards being romantic. The hubby and I are doing "homework" too - painting, a few furniture additions here and there. It sure goes a long way in brightening up these waning winter months, doesn't it? Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. After I get through the Novel Thoughts book I'll be able to redirect my time and pour some thoughts out. Hope all is well with you my friend. I've been thinking about you:)

Option 1 looks the most like you! I can see that being your bedroom! Hey, maybe once you're done you will let me peek my head in there the next time I visit - hee hee!!
Option 1 or Option 3. Option 1 is sophisticated. Option 3 is fun and Springy! Post a picture of your room so we know what color your walls and furniture are. :) I change my bedding in the Spring for Spring/Summer and in the Fall for Fall/Winter, but I have had the same bedding for about five years and I bought it at Ross. 3...I have seen it in the PB catalog and loved it. It is different but not so different that you won't like it in 6 mos.
I do like ALL of your choices, though. You have good taste!

I like #1. The contrast with stripes and print is thinking of both of you. You need something to keep you warm on this very cold and windy day. 65 mph winds right now. Did you ask Tanner what he likes.
I like Option 1. It seems warm and inviting. It has both masculine and feminine touches - perfect four a bedroom!
